Icebones

Icebones is a 2001 novel by Stephen Baxter. It is in The Mammoth Trilogy. An omnibus edition, incorporating all three novels of this series, was published as Behemoth (2004).

Reception

Kirkus Reviews said in their review that its "impossible not to cheer for Baxter's plucky pachyderms: a saga that, even at its most improbable, engages the reader's heart and mind."^[1] Jackie Cassada in her review for Library Journal said that "Baxter brings the great creatures of Earth's prehistory to life."^[2]
