Ibrahim Tannous (1929 - 26 December 2012)[1] was a former commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces. He gave his resignation and was succeeded by Michel Aoun in June 1984 after accusations were leveled at him of anti-Muslim bias.[2][3] Tannous died on 26 December 2012.
