Ibrahim Babatunde is not a new face to Maltese football. In 2006 he joined Msida St. Joseph F.C. and he left a very good impression scoring 18 goals, and it was no wonder he became a firm supporter’s favourite. His speed and technique were essential for Msida F.C to remain in the Premier League that season. His contribution to the team was awarded by winning the Malta Football Best Foreign Player in the same year.
Babatunde moved to the Danish club Horsens. He only played six games for the first team during the 2007-2008 season.[3]
