Ibero Cruises (Spanish: Ibero Cruceros) is a British-American and Spanish owned cruise line based in Madrid, Spain. The cruise line is aimed at the Spanish and Portuguese speaking market. In 2013 Iberocruceros appointed their first Uk agent Vamos Holidays to market their product to the UK and Irish markets. Iberocruceros operates voyages in Europe, the Mediterranean, and in South America.

History

The company was founded in 2003 as Viajes Iberojet and renamed in 2007 as a joint subsidiary of Carnival Corporation & plc and Orizonia Corporation,[1] under the executive control of Costa Cruises Group, Carnival Corporation's European division.[citation needed] Ibero Cruises started with four ships; Grand Mistral, Grand Latino, and Grand Voyager provided by Orizonia, and Grand Celebration, provided by Carnival Cruises.[1] An additional ship, the Grand Holiday, was transferred into the fleet in 2009 from Carnival.
