Ian Ernest

Gerald James Ian Ernest is the current Anglican Archbishop of the Indian Ocean.[1][2]
Ernest was born on 30 August 1954 [3] and educated at the University of Madras and ordained in 1985.
In 2008 he was awarded the Cross of St Augustine, the second highest international award for outstanding service to the Anglican Communion, by the Archbishop of Canterbury.[4]
