Ian Charles Calderon is an American politician currently serving his first term in the California State Assembly. He is a Democrat representing the 57th district, encompassing parts of southeastern Los Angeles County. Prior to being elected to the state assembly, he was a surfing champion and field representative for Assemblymember Roger Hernandez.
He is the son of former assemblyman and state senator Charles Calderon and nephew of current state senator Ronald Calderon. He is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach.
