Iain Cook (born 1974) is a Scottish guitarist, composer, and record producer who is currently a member of Glasgow-based synthpop trio Chvrches as well as the rock band The Unwinding Hours. He was the lead guitarist of now disbanded Scottish band Aereogramme. Cook has a career writing music for film and television and he has recently completed a remix/arrangement of the Biffy Clyro song Machines for a B-side of the 7" #1 Vinyl.
In August 2009, Cook and Aereogramme vocalist Craig B. revealed their new band, The Unwinding Hours.[1]
Currently, Cook is a member of the Scottish electronic band Chvrches, who received international attention and placed fifth in the BBC Sound of 2013 poll.
