iSQUARE (Chinese: 國際廣場) is a 31-story high shopping mall located at 63 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong, on the former site of the Hyatt Regency Hotel. It was developed by Associated International Hotels Ltd.

Introduction

iSQUARE was designed by architecture firms Rocco Design Ltd[1] and Benoy.[2] It has an approximately 600,000 square feet (56,000 m2) retail space area for shopping, entertainment and iTOWER. The retail space area is located from the basement to level 8, with shops on the ground floor being for hign-end fashion/luxury items. On level 7, there are five mini-cinemas, which provide 1,000 seats. iTOWER has 20 stories and there are several restaurants inside. One of the levels is occupied by Associated International Hotels Ltd.

Features of iSQUARE

iSQUARE's wall block is supported by more than 4,000 glass and special glass components, the building construction industry means the creation of the first of its kind. Shopping in Peking Road the entrance has an LED lamp by the hundreds of thousands of giant canopy composition, play different types of animation; LB floor also has a projection device wall. In addition, the venue has 43 escalators, which five escalators for the cross-layer, through each subject area. To live underground MTR escalators layer to length of 37 meters, with 10 groups on both sides of the wall projection projector such as plants and trees image, known as iNTER-GROW, pedestrians can interact with these images, will be distributed through pollen or discolouration, is a Hong Kong first, but the Asian area of the longest standing interactive projector project.[3] But the device was deactivated in May 2010. Nathan's glass curtain wall for the escalators installed LED wall as a decoration. Top 360 buildings more devices, an area of over 1,300 square meters of LED wall screen, as the dissemination of information. Installed throughout the building, about 151,000 pieces LED lights.[4]
