IM Global is an American film financing, sales, and distribution company with offices in Los Angeles, London, and Mumbai. IM Global focuses on a wide variety of cinema, including mainstream commercial films, art-house, foreign language and genre fare. It was founded in March 2007 by current CEO Stuart Ford

In May 2010, Reliance Entertainment, part of Indian conglomerate Reliance ADA Group, acquired a major shareholding in the company.

Company info

Stuart Ford founded IM Global in March 2007. After three years, Ford sold a majority stake in the company in May 2010 to Reliance Entertainment, the entertainment subsidy of giant Indian conglomerate Reliance ADA Group. Reliance is also Steven Spielberg’s partner in DreamWorks Pictures.
