IDP Education is one of the world's leading international education organisations offering student placement in Australia, the USA and the UK. IDP Education has 40 years' experience in international higher education. IELTS Australia Pty Ltd manages a network of more than 100 IELTS test centres in over 35 countries. IDP Australia partners with University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations and the British Council for IELTS tests.

History

IDP was established in 1969 as Australian Asian Universities’ Cooperation Scheme (AAUCS) to deliver development assistance to universities in South-East Asia. AAUCS changes its name to the International Development Program (IDP) of Australian Universities and Colleges.
