The Hyundai Xcent is an upcoming sedan by Hyundai Motor Company. Based on the Hyundai Grand i10, the Xcent will be manufactured by Hyundai Motor India Limited in Chennai.[1][2] It made its debut on February 4, 2014, three days ahead of its world premiere at the Auto Expo 2014.[3]

The car will be available with two engine options:

  • 1.2 liter four-cylinder petrol
  • 1.4 liter four-cylinder CRDi diesel (currently used in the i20)[1]

The Xcent is scheduled to hit showrooms on March 2014 to compete with the Honda Amaze and the Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire.[2]
