With its headquarters located in the southeastern parts of South Korea within an industrial city named Changwon, The Hyundai Wia Corporation (Korean: 현대위아) is a member of the Hyundai Motor Group and is the 2nd biggest automotive parts manufacturer in South Korea.

The company also produces machine tools and attains the biggest market share in South Korea since the year 2000.

Other business areas includes heavy machineries, defense products, aircraft parts and etc. The company created a sales number roughly around 4.2 Bill. US Dollars in 2010.

With the company' goal focused on becoming one of the top 20 companies in Korea by the year 2020, the Hyundai Wia Corp. is discovering new business areas that will propel their sales engines into the next level.

1976-1979 Base Construction of the foundation
