Hyptis capitata, also known as Knobweed, is a species of erect annual shrubs, of the plant family Lamiaceae. They grow up to a height of 1.5 meters and have become distributed throughout the tropics from their native occurrences in Mexico.[1][2][3] Crushed leaves are applied to cuts.[4] It is considered a weed in many places.[5]
