Hypselodoris carnea is a species of colourful sea slug or dorid nudibranch, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Chromodorididae.[2]
It feeds on sponges.
Distribution
This nudibranch is known from South Africa, along the KwaZulu-Natal coast.[1]
Description
Hypselodoris carnea can reach a total length of at least 45 mm. There is wide range of colour variation seen in this species, and it is easily mistaken for Hypselodoris capensis.
