Hypolimnas monteironis, the scarce blue diadem, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, the Republic of Congo, Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.[2] The habitat consists of forests.

The larvae feed on Urera hypselodendron and Fleurya species.
