Hymel Hunt (born 14 November 1993) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for the Melbourne Storm of the National Rugby League. He primarily plays centre and wing

Playing career

Born in Auckland, New Zealand, Hunt played his junior football for the Redcliffe Dolphins in the Queensland Cup before being signed by the Gold Coast Titans. He played for the Titans' NYC team from 2011 to 2013.[1]

In Round 17 of the 2013 NRL season, Hunt made his NRL debut for the Titans against the Penrith Panthers.[2]

On 27 August 2013, Hunt was named at centre in the 2013 NYC Team of the Year.

On 21 August 2013, Hunt signed a 1-year contract with the Melbourne Storm starting in 2014.[3]

Personal Life

Hunt is the cousin of Gold Coast Suns player and former Brisbane Broncos player Karmichael Hunt.[4]
