Hylarana chitwanensis is a species of frog in the Ranidae family found in Nepal and possibly India.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, and rivers.
It is threatened by habitat loss.
