Hygromia cinctella, known commonly as the girdled snail, is a small European species of air-breathing land snail in the terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk family Hygromiidae.
Distribution
This snail is native to various European countries, including[1] France, Switzerland, Italy, and Slovenia. It has been introduced and became established in Great Britain, Austria, and Hungary.[1]
Behavior
This species creates and uses love darts in its mating behavior.
