Hyacinth Tungutalum

Hyacinth Gabriel Tungutalum (14 August 1946 – 7 April 2009) was an Australian politician. He was the Country Liberal Party member for Tiwi in the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly from 1974 to 1977. Tungutalum was the first indigenous member of the Northern Territory's Legislative Council in 1974.[1]
Tungutalum was a traditional owner on the Tiwi Islands. He died in 2009 of a heart attack.[2]
