Hurkett, Ontario

Hurkett is an unincorporated community in the Canadian province of Ontario, located in the Thunder Bay District.
The community is located on Lake Superior's Black Bay. It is accessible via Highway 582, a short spur route which connects to Highway 17.
A designated place administered by a local services board,[1] Hurkett had a population of 285 in the Canada 2006 Census,[2] which dropped to 236 in the 2011 census.[3]
