Hurand (Persian: هوراند; also Romanized as Hūrānd, Horand, and Howrānd)[1] is a city in and the capital of Hurand District, in Ahar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 3,876, in 907 families.[2]
