Humbang Hasundutan Regency is a regency in the southwest shore of Lake Toba of North Sumatra, Indonesia. In 2010, the regency covered an area of 2,297.2 square kilometres and according to the 2010 census had a population of 171,687.[1] Its seat is Dolok Sanggul. To the north is Samosir Regency and Pakpak Bharat Regency, the east is North Tapanuli Regency, and the south is Central Tapanuli Regency and the Indian Ocean.
