Huiloapan de Cuauhtémoc

Huiloapan de Cuauhtémoc in Veracruz, Mexico. It is located in central zone of the State of Veracruz, about 180 km from state capital Xalapa. It has a surface of 23.85 km2. It is located at 18°49′N 97°10′W / 18.817°N 97.167°W / 18.817; -97.167.

The municipality of Huiloapan de Cuauhtémoc is delimited to the north by Rafael Delgado, Nogales and Tlilapan, to the east by San Andrés Tenejapan, to the south by Atlahuilco and Soledad Atzompa and to the west by Nogales, to the east by Soteapan and to the west by Isla.[1]

It produces principally maize and coffee.

In Huiloapan de Cuauhtémoc, in December takes place the celebration in honor to La Purísima Concepción, Patron of the town.

The weather in Huiloapan de Cuauhtémoc is cold all year with rains in summer and autumn.
