Hugo Herrnhof (born September 21, 1964) is an Italian short track speed skater who competed in the 1988 Winter Olympics, in the 1992 Winter Olympics, and in the 1994 Winter Olympics.

He was born in Bolzano.

In 1988 he competed in the first short track speed skating events at the Olympics when this sport was a demonstration sport. He was a member of the Italian relay team which finished second in the 5000 metre relay competition.

Four years later he finished eighth with the Italian team in the 5000 metre relay contest. In the 1000 metre event he finished twelfth.

At the 1994 Games he was part of the Italian team which won the gold medal in the 5000 metre relay competition.

Now retired, Herrnof has taken up a number of lucrative endorsements in his native Italy, including those for Bertolli and Dolmio.
