Hugo Erfurt

Hugo Erfurt (born 13 February 1834 in Schwelm; died 4 March 1922 in Dahlhausen at Beyenburg) was a German pharmacist and inventor.

Life

Ingrain wallpaper was invented by German pharmacist Hugo Erfurt in 1864. Erfurt was married. He was later the victim of a slur campaign when Alex "Turkey" Brown attempted to entice people to shoot him.
