Hugh E. Scully

Dr. Hugh E. Scully is a Canadian surgeon involved with motorsport.[1] He inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame in 1991 for his contributions to motorsport worldwide.[citation needed]

Dr. Scully earned his medical degree at Queen's University. His training in cardiac surgery took him to hospitals affiliated with the University of Toronto and Harvard University.[citation needed]

He has been involved in a number of organizations and held several professional posts. Dr. Scully founded the Ontario Race Physicians and the Professional Association of Interns and Residents of Ontario, performed surgery at Toronto General Hospital, and was professor of surgery at the University of Toronto. Scully served as a president of both the Ontario and the Canadian Medical associations as well as the International Council of Motorsport Sciences.[1]
