Hubley is a residential community within the Halifax Regional Municipality Nova Scotia on Trunk 3 between Upper Tantallon and Timberlea 12.64 kilometers from Halifax

  • The village is primarily composed of three sub-divisions: Lake of the Woods, Sheldrake Lake and Three Brooks. There are several parks in the area, as well as campgrounds and hiking trails. Sheldrake Lake and Lake of the Woods, generally, are affluent communities. Citizens of this community include the commissioner of police of nearby Halifax, the Murphy family, the Bowie family; the Sobeys family and the Baker family. Every year the community hosts Christmas and other festive decorating contests.
