Hrnčiarovce nad Parnou is a village and municipality of the Trnava District in the Trnava region of Slovakia.[1] The village is 5 km southwest from the centre of the town of Trnava and was once known for the manufacture of pottery; today it is largely a suburb of Trnava. Hrnčiarovce is situated on the southern side of the old highway (61) from Trnava to Bratislava, about 50 km to the westsouthwest. The alluvial River Parna, about 2-3m wide and 0.5m deep, flows under the 61 highway and forms the eastern limit of the village.
