Howard Franklin is an American screenwriter and film director, most well known for the 1990 film Quick Change, his collaboration with Bill Murray.[1] His other films include The Public Eye, about a 1940s tabloid photographer modeled on Weegee and starring Joe Pesci; and The Name of the Rose starring Sean Connery.
