The Hounds Below are an American rock band from Ferndale, consisting of Jason Stollsteimer (lead vocals, guitar), Will Shattuck (drums), Mathew Hofman (lead guitar, backing vocals) and Adam Michael Lee Padden (bass, backing vocals). They were formed in 2009, while Stollsteimer was still recording and touring with his then-main-band the Von Bondies. After they broke up, he started recruiting members into the Hounds Below and started recording their debut album, You Light Me Up In The Dark, which came out in 2012.
Touring
The Hounds Below have shared the stage with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club,[2] Ash,[3] The Heavy,[4] The Raveonettes,[5] The Grates, The Horrors,[6] The Black Angels,[7] Company of Thieves,[8] Airborne Toxic Event,[9] The Like, Band of Skulls[10] and The Whigs.[11]
