Hotel Cipriani

The Hotel Cipriani is a hotel in Venice, northern Italy. On May 26, 1958 Giuseppe Cipriani, founder of Harry’s Bar in Venice and inventor of the Bellini cocktail, opened the Hotel Cipriani on the island of Giudecca.
In 1976, Orient-Express Hotels was founded with the purchase of Hotel Cipriani in Venice, and began as the leisure division of Sea Containers Ltd and was later incorporated as Orient-Express Hotels Ltd., a Bermuda company.[1]
