Hostetter is a light rail station operated by Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA). This station is served by VTA's Alum Rock–Santa Teresa line.
The station, built as part of the Tasman East/Capitol extension from I-880/Milpitas to Alum Rock, was originally intended as the terminus of phase two of the Tasman East project. However, phase two of the Tasman East extension and the Capitol extension were eventually opened on the same date in 2004.[1]
Location
Hostetter station is located in the median of North Capitol Avenue, just south of Hostetter Road in San Jose, California.

Connecting transit
VTA Bus Route 45 no longer serves this station due to bus service updates implemented on January 14, 2008.
