Awards Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross

Horst Baldauf (24 May 1920 10 June 1944) was a highly decorated Leutnant in the Luftwaffe during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Horst Baldauf was killed in action on 10 June 1944. He was posthumously awarded the Knight's Cross 8 August 1944.
