The Hoping Power Plant (Chinese: 和平電廠; pinyin: Hépíng Diànchǎng) is a coal-fired power plant in Xiulin, Hualien, Taiwan.[2] With the installed capacity of 1,320 MW,[3] the power plant is the fourth largest coal-fired power plant in Taiwan.
Generation
Electricity generated by the power plant supplies the major load located in north of Taiwan.
Transportation
Hoping Power Plant is accessible within walking distance North East from TRA Heping Station.
