Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty is an upcoming Bollywood action thriller film been written and directed by A.R. Murugadoss. It features Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles, along with Govinda in a short yet important role (possibly the role played by Jayaram or Sathyan in the original). The film been produced by Vipul Shah is a remake of a 2012 Tamil Hit Movie Thuppakki starring Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in lead roles.[1][2] The film is scheduled to release on 6 June 2014 and hence is set to clash with Ajay Devgn's Action Jackson.[3]

Production
The film's production commenced in 2013 with the working title of 'Pistol' under the banner of Hari Om Entertainment and Sunshine Pictures.[4] The background score and soundtrack is composed by Pritam Chakraborty and Cinematography is handled by Nataraj Subramanian. Whereas Stunts will be taken care of by Skyfall's action director Greg Powell[5]

Release
The teaser is all set to release on 14 February 2014. Film is all set to Release on 6th June 2014.
