Holden Medical Institute

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Holden Medical Institute was an accredited nursing school with campuses in Lowell and Worcester, Massachusetts, and Nashua, New Hampshire. The Nashua campus was shut down by the State of New Hampshire in April 2008 due to concerns about the school's financial viability and their inability to pay bills.[1] [2]

The school offered programs in: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and First Aid Certification to a population that was predominantly African immigrants, some of whom were able to finish their programs elsewhere when Holden was shut down,[1] although there was concern about the ability to transfer credits.[3]

It is unknown whether their Massachusetts campuses are still in operation.
