Hlinsko (Czech pronunciation: [ˈɦlɪnsko]) is a town in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic.
Hlinsko's history can be traced back to the 11th century for the first written document. Hlinsko stands on the banks of the Chrudimka river, at the foot of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. It has about 10,000 inhabitants and it is the natural centre of its region called Hlinecko.
There are 3 primary schools, a grammar school, a swimming-pool, and 3 supermarkets in the town.
