Hitomaro is a crater on Mercury. It has a diameter of 107 kilometers.[1] Its name was adopted by the International Astronomical Union in 1976. Hitomaro is named for the Japanese poet Kakinomoto no Hitomaro, who lived from 655 to 700.[2]
