Hilton International Stakes

The Hilton International Stakes is a Victoria Racing Club Group 2 Australian Thoroughbred horse race for mares aged four years old and over under handicap conditions, over a distance of 2000 metres.
It is held at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne.

1995 onwards held over 2000m.
1995–2000 was a Listed Race
2001–2004 was a Group 3
2005 onwards Group 2
1995 - 2004 the race was known as the ‘Matriarch Stakes’
2005 onwards the race has been called ‘Hilton International Stakes’
