Highway Hockey League

The Highway Hockey League is a Senior Hockey League in Central Saskatchewan. There are currently 8 teams in the league. The teams are the Wynyard Monarchs, the Raymore Rockets, the Cupar Canucks, the Southey Marlins, the Bethune Bulldogs, the Avonlea Arrows, the Lumsden Monarchs, and the Strasbourg Maroons.

The league was formed in 1965 with 5 teams in Lumsden, Bulyea, Strasbourg, Drake, and Govan. Many teams have come and gone throughout the history of the league. 23 towns have had teams in the league at one point or another. The teams compete for the Royal Bank of Canada Trophy.

The 2012-13 champions were the Cupar Canucks, who defeated the Wynyard Monarchs 3 games to 0 to win the championship.
