Hieracium laevigatum or smooth hawkweed is very similar to Hieracium sabaudum and can be found on dry, more or less nutrient rich soil in light woods, grassy embankments and fields, or on walls.[2]
Distribution
H. laevigatum is native to the United States (Washington),[1] Asia (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Dagestan, Eastern Siberia, Georgia, Turkey, Western Siberia),[3] and Europe (Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom, former Yugoslavia).[3]
