Hicham Khaloua, simply Hicham (born 7 May 1995), is a Moroccan footballer who plays for UD Almería B as a forward.

Club career

Born in San Javier, Murcia to Moroccan parents,[1] Hicham started his youth career in local Mar Menor CF, and in 2005 he joined FC Cartagena's youth setup, aged 14.[2] On 14 July 2011, after been linked with FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Málaga CF, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea, Hicham went on a trial at Manchester City.[3] However, nothing came of it.

On 2 August Hicham left the Efesé and signed with UD Almería, initially assigned to their Juvenil squad.[4] He made his senior debuts with the B-team in the 2011–12 season, in Segunda División B.

On 14 July 2013 Hicham signed a new deal with the Andalusians, running until 2018.[5] On 18 December he made his first team debut, playing the last 32 minutes in a 0–0 home draw against UD Las Palmas, for the season's Copa del Rey.[6]

International career

Hicham was called up to Morocco U20's in April 2013,[7] and also appeared with the side in 2013 Mediterranean Games, scoring impressive five goals in five matches and also being crowned champions.[8]
