History
Hibernia was built in 1834 for the D&KR. She was one of a class of three similar locomotives. Like Experiment, power transmission from the vertical cylinders was via bell cranks. [1]
Hibernia pulled the first train on the D&KR on 9 October 1834, which consisted of eight carriages.[2]
