Herschel Alan Weingrod (30th October 1947 Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States) is an American screenwriter.[1] He has written and co-written a number of Hollywood blockbusters including Trading Places, Twins, Kindergarten Cop with fellow writer Murray Salem and the 1996 movie Space Jam. His parents are of Jewish descent.
