Creation
The title was created in 1945[1] and the Albanian parliament confirmed it by Law in 1954 and then reconfirmed by Law Nr.6133 on February 12, 1980. The creation of the award was a way to honor Albanian citizens for having made valuable contributions to Albania or to the Albanian people.[2]
