Herbert Alexandrovich Yefremov

Dr. H. Yefremov a.k.a. Gerbert Aleksandrovich Efremov (Russian: Герберт Александрович Ефремов, born 15 March 1933) is a Russian design engineer and Professor of Technical Sciences. Recipient of several state awards from Russia and the erstwhile Soviet Union, and the Padma Bhushan from India, he was a founder of the Indo-Russian joint venture BrahMos.[1][2][3][4] Yefremov has played a leading role in the design and construction of several highly sensitive military missile systems and space stattions, and his identity and role in these projects was treated as a state secret for several years.[5][6]
