Henry Hudson Regional High School is a comprehensive regional public high school and school district which serves students in grades 7-12 from two communities in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. Students come from both Atlantic Highlands and Highlands.[4]
As of the 2010-11 school year, the school had an enrollment of 401 students and 35.7 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.23:1. There were 90 students (22.4% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 21 (5.2% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.[1]
The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "DE", the fifth highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.[5]
Awards, recognition and rankings
The school was the 101st-ranked public high school in New Jersey out of 328 schools statewide in New Jersey Monthly magazine's September 2012 cover story on the state's "Top Public High Schools", after being ranked 121st in 2010 out of 322 schools listed.[6] The magazine ranked the school 176th in 2008 out of 316 schools.[7] The school was ranked 159th in the magazine's September 2006 issue, which surveyed 316 schools across the state.[8] Schooldigger.com ranked the school tied for 190th out of 381 public high schools statewide in its 2011 rankings (a decrease of 1 positions from the 2010 ranking) which were based on the combined percentage of students classified as proficient or above proficient on the two components of the High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA), mathematics (80.0%) and language arts literacy (91.6%).[9]
Athletics
The Henry Hudson Regional High School Admirals compete in the Shore Conference, an athletic conference made up of private and public high schools centered at the Northern Jersey Shore.[10] All schools in this conference are located within Monmouth County and Ocean County, which operates under the jurisdiction of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA).[11]

- Walt Flanagan (born 1967), co-host of Tell 'Em Steve-Dave!, manager of Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash, and star of Comic Book Men.[13]
- Bryan Johnson (born 1967), co-host of the Tell Em' Steve-Dave! and star of Comic Book Men.[14]
- Jason Mewes (born 1974), actor best known for playing the role of foul-mouthed drug dealer "Jay", the vocal half of Jay and Silent Bob.[citation needed]
