Henry Hudson (artist)
Henry Hudson (born 1982[1]) is a British Artist.
Life and work
Henry Hudson is from Yorkshire, England,[2][3] and he attended Ampleforth College. He later graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in 2005.[1]
In 2009 he was working on plasticine paintings and biro drawings, depicting "aspects of the grotesque".[1] "There is a whiff of the rock star about the inimitable Mr Hudson, one of the few people with enough pull to get the Chelsea set across to Shoreditch"
He has exhibited his work in East London's Trolley Gallery, Hiscox Gallery, F2 Gallery,[4] Soho House (club), 20 Hoxton Square, 33 Portland Place,[5] and has had a joint show with Stella Vine.[6]
Richard Dorment, art critic of The Daily Telegraph described Hudson and artist Laurence Owen as: "Astonishing Young Trustafarians".[7]
Hudson has seen his art work displayed on the London Underground in conjunction with the arts company Art Below.[8]
