Career
In 2005, with Markis Kido, he won men's doubles at the Asian Badminton Championships and the Indonesia Open. In 2006, they also won the Jakarta Satellite, the Hong Kong Open and the China Open after defeating China's Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng, the 2006 IBF (BWF) world champions in the finals.

They also captured the China Super Series after defeating China 's Guo Zhendong and Xie Zhongbo and the BWF World Cup Invitation after beating Malaysia's Mohd. Fairuzizuan Mohd.
