The Hemingray Glass Company was an American glass manufacturing company. The company was founded by Robert Hemingray and Ralph Gray in 1848. Over time the company had different names, including as Gray, Hemingray and Bros., H.G. Co. and R. Hemingray Co. The Hemingray company had factories in Cincinnati, Ohio; Covington, Kentucky and Muncie, Indiana. It produced a variety of other glass objects. In 1933, the company was sold to the Owens-Illinois Glass Company.
The old Muncie plant is now the base of Gerdau Ameristeel, who fabricates reinforcing steel.
